As a Correctional Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our facility while also providing guidance and support to those in our care.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and monitor inmates to ensure a safe and secure environment
  • Enforce facility rules and regulations with fairness and consistency
  • Conduct routine inspections of cells and common areas
  • Escort inmates to and from designated areas within the facility
  • Assist in the implementation of rehabilitative programs for inmates
  • Document and report any incidents or unusual behavior
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure the overall well-being of inmates

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous experience in a correctional facility is preferred but not required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening
